Here are some yummy steps to get you started:
1. DREAM!
Yes, you must dream. Get in touch with your dreams, desires, goals, wishes, flights of fancy, whims and wants. 2. VALUES
Get in touch with your values. They might be freedom, security, independence, love, health, service, community, or independence. When you are in close contact with your values, the choices that you make are effortless and head you toward your highest good. Keep these in mind when you look at your surroundings. Write them down.
3. PASSIONS.
What do you love? These are the mixture of your dreams and values and how you express them in your life. It is the fuel that gets you out of bed and into a rainy day. It is what you sacrifice for. It is your reward for a job well done. Passions- write them down.

4. FIZPOINTS
The first thing you see when you enter a room sets the intention for that room and it’s purpose. Stand in the doorway. What do you see? What is opposite the door? If you are in the family room, is the first thing you see, a positive image? Is it in alignment with your dreams, values and passions and the use of the room- for gathering family, community? The ideal could be literal- a family portrait, or metaphorical- a healthy plant, symbolic of a growing, healthy family. In a master bedroom, this is about the couple who share it, not the children or in-laws, so make it a place to celebrate your union. There are plenty

5. FLOW
How does each room flow? We naturally feel better when we flow in a clockwise direction. Is your home allowing that? Are there sharp angles that are not comfortable to walk around? Are there piles that block walk ways and stuff behind doors that prevent you from entering a room with ease? These might seem simple, but the little annoyances that they create, whether you are conscious of them or not, really do affect you. Imagine all the little expenditures of energy those little annoyances are costing you. Couldn’t your energy be better spent towards what makes you happy?
6. CLUTTER
Ok. Breathe. There is hope. I promise. I do. First, stop beating yourself over having it and being powerless over it. This only creates more clutter- in your thoughts and emotions. It’s not just “stuff”- everything in that pile, in that junk room, in the basement, in the drawer, has a meaning, a memory that you have to process, even subconsciously when you see it. Everything in that pile. Geez, you can see how clutter can be exhausting! So, be gentle with yourself in letting it go. And to help you along, don’t focus on the letting go, but what you are making room for. There is a finite amount of space in your life- whether that be physical or time or thoughts. So, think of all that you do want in your life and focus on how wonderful it will be to have the room for endless possibilities to fill that space! Yes- room for better than what you can image. You deserve it!
7. LIFE MAP
The life map is a powerful tool to help you connect the varied aspects of your life (health, relationships, self esteem, etc.) with your surroundings. Placing objects with intention of what you desire programs your subconscious mind to be constantly reminded of what you desire, thus, helping you be focused effortlessly in that direction. It’s subliminal advertising for your dreams! This is so important, that there is a whole webpage here devoted to it! Check it out- develop a long term relationship with it. The life map will help you stay on your path. And, you deserve that joy!
8. COMMANDING POSITION
This is such a subtle foundation of being a comfortable human being. We naturally feel better when we are in a commanding position. What does this mean? When you are in a room, being able to see the door, so that no one can come in behind you and startle you naturally feels better, keeping you at ease (even if you live alone). This means where you sleep, eat, sit on the sofa, and work. If there is no way that you can change your seating, try using a mirror or reflective surface to be able to see the door. I think that we will be closer to world peace when all homes are designed from this concept first- the comfort of human living first and foremost. Wake up on the right side of the bed… You deserve it!
9. RECEIVE
Now, let it go. You’ve put out your intentions, now, let them come to you. A little goes a long way. Moderation. Your intention is far more powerful than anything you can do. In fact, this is much more internal, because if at your core, you don’t believe that you deserve miracles, you will block them. Even if right this moment you don’t think you deserve all that you dream of, I do. I know YOU DESERVE IT! Be open to opportunities and gifts that you never thought of. Be receptive to getting exactly what you want, just not the way you imagined it- but better. Let your surroundings be your call to action- the reminder to take the steps needed to living in your dreams awake. YOU DESERVE IT!
